Inspired by a Love of Great Design
Page's love of collectible mid-century furniture began in Southern California where she spent her summers at her grandparents’ home. Perched on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the house was special.
Designed by famed LA architect Dan Dworsky (architect of The Tom Bradley Terminal at LAX, Drake Stadium at UCLA and the LA Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank), the house was a model of modernist California living. In addition to its groundbreaking design, the house boasted the latest in interior design and home technology. With glass across the back of the entire house, it featured ocean views, sloping green lawns, poolside terraces and a boulder as a diving board.

Page’s parents similarly embraced the contemporary aesthetic and sat on folding chairs while they saved to buy rooms of Knoll furniture in the early 1960s. Today, Page has parlayed her love of this era into Light & Space Modern.
