This table was made for the prestigious Copenhagen location of Danish retailer Illums Bolighus. Illums Bolighus was established in 1925 and known for its Scandinavian design often by famous designers (Auböck, Holm Sørensen). Shown with Hans Wegner dining chairs (listed separately).
Lovely teak dining table with two leaves. Table top constructed of multiple grains that intersect in the center of the table. Contains original brass tag confirming the table's origin. Table expands from round without leaves to oval with one or both leaves. Each leaf is 15 3/4". Good condition. H 28 1/2", D 46 1/2" (without leaves), L 78" (with both leaves)
