Eje Ahlgren Table Lamps
This pair of brass table lamps, Model B-075 by Eje Ahlgren, were produced by Bergboms, Sweden. Bergboms was a prominent Swedish lighting firm that manufactured its own designs as well as those of other international designers. Ahlgren was one of their main designers during the 1950s and 60s. The manufactuer's name is marked under the base. Both lamps are wired for US current. Pristine condition. H 22", W 10", D 8"
These brass table lamps produced in 1960 offer contemporary lines coupled with functional design. Made with a fully adjustable shade, the protruding rod at the top of the shade is intended to be used to move the shade position without marking the brass surface with fingerprints. Model B-075 was part of a series of floor and wall lamps.
