This iconic set of six W2 dining chairs were designed by Hans J Wegner and made for CM Madsens. This simple modern design is made of oak with sculpted backrests The chairs are stamped 'CM Madsens Fabriker Haarby Danmark, Made in Denmark Design: Hans J Wegner.' Good condition in need of new upholstery for seats. H 29 3/4", W 21 3/4", D 17 1/4"
CM Madsens was a renowned Danish furniture manufacturer known for producing high quality Danish modern pieces. Madsens was known for their craftsmanship using solid woods such as oak, teak and beech. They collaborated with key designers such as Wegner and Borge Mogensen.
